Tax strategies in tough times

Lithuanian Chamber of Commerce in the UK in partnership with Lithuanian Embassy arranged a workshop covering tax strategies for businesses coping with the economic recession.

It was the first time LCCUK event had even four speakers in one seminar: Olga Jachimovic - Director of Lithuanian accountancy and consulting company in the UK “Eurobaltika”, Luke Brown – Area Director of UK Business Banking in “RBS”, Rachael Baker - Area Sales Manager of “NatWest” and Ian Miroy – Partner of “Robertson Milroy”, accountancy and tax consultancy company.

Olga Jachimovic covered a topic ‘Small/medium business tax strategy in tough times’. Luke Brown discussed insurance and factoring for invoices, Rachael Baker did her speech on business financial planning and self investment pension scheme issues. And Ian Milroy presented tax strategies in tough times for bigger companies.

The presentations were followed by the question-answer session and networking.
