LCCUK Annual General Meeting

On Friday, May 16th, 2008 Lithuanian Chamber of Commers in the UK had Annual General Meeting. AGM took place in the new Lithuanian Embassy building situated in Bessborough Gardens, Westminster.

Previous management presented Annual Report on activities and finances for the year 07/08. In the past year LCCUK had various meetings with British and Lithuanian politics, Business Link, UK Trade & Investment, business representatives, golf tournament. On Christmas time (2007) were organised first Lithuanian Christmas fair in Stratford, Newham, as well Chamber were organizing and participating in the other interesting and important events.

During AGM we agreed on our new Memorandum and Articles, elected new management, as well we give our thanks to those who made great job during first year of Chamber and helped us to get on our feet.

Lithuanian Ambassador HE Vygaudas Usackas were presented with honour membership for helping to gather all Lithuanian businesses to Chamber. With many thanks for the active helping to Lithuanian Chamber we presented Thank you Certificate to Ove Hanel.

New president and vice-president for the year 2008/09 were elected Darius Paskauskas, director of the estate agency Zone Residential Ltd and Egonas Jakimavicius, director of the beer and spirits importing company Lithuanian Beer Ltd. As well were elected and new board (for full list of board please click hear).

New president Darius Paskauskas said that there will be no general changes in the Chamber: „We will continue working on marketing and strategy trying to attract more new members. Organize new exiting and useful events to make Chamber more successful and interesting to other organizations and businesses. “
